I, the undersigned, hereby declare that:

I will not throw garbage into the sea or along the coast.

I will not release wastewater from my boat in coastal waters or in sensitive areas.

I will use a holding tank on board to collect wastewater.

I will not dump poisonous waste (oil, color, used batteries, poisonous cleaning agents, etc.) into the sea. I will safely dispose of this waste in suitable containers in the marina.

I will promote and use recycling facilities (glass, paper, etc.).

I will use the most environmentally friendly products (paints, anti foulings, paint remover, detergents, chemicals, etc.).

I will immediately report pollution or other violations of environmental regulations to the authorities.

I will not use forbidden fishing practices and I will respect periods when fishing is prohibited. 

I will protect animals and plants in the sea, and I will not disturb breeding of birds, seals or other marine mammals.

I will respect protected, sensitive and natural areas.

I will avoid anchoring in sensitive areas.

I will avoid disturbing fishing or harming fishing gear.

I will respect and take into consideration other people and the environment.

I will not buy or use objects made from protected species / in danger of extinction or from archeological underwater findings. 

I will encourage other sailors to take care of the environment.
